Juventus FC In 2020 Italian Serie A

The 2020/21 season of Serie A started again with Juventus FC as the great rival to beat. The objective of the "Vecchia Signora" is to achieve its tenth consecutive scudetto. Also, they will make a new attempt to win the UEFA Champions League. Juve won the last Serie A when there were two days left to go. However, Inter finished with just one point less in the final standings. Despite the title, the playing style did not convince. Likewise, it was disappointing not to advance beyond the round of sixteen in the Champions League. All of this led to Maurizio Sarri's dismissal and the arrival of Andrea Pirlo as a coach.

Changes In Juventus FC 2020/21

From a strategic point of view, the most important incorporation was that of Andrea Pirlo as the new manager. This idol of the "bianconera" fans will make his debut as a coach. Pirlo arrived looking to bring Juventus FC a long-awaited new title in the Champions League. To do this, he will have players like Ronaldo, Dybala, and Arthur. Barça signed the latter in an exchange that sent Miralem Pjanic to the Spanish team. The possible signing of Luis Suárez monopolized a lot of space in the media, but ultimately it did not materialize.

Juve has also brought in the promising 20-year-old Swedish midfielder Dejan Kulusevski, who was on loan to Parma. Another who can contribute a lot to the offense is the 22-year-old Italian Federico Chiesa. He arrived on loan from Fiorentina at a 10 million Euros fee. With that team, he achieved 11 goals and 9 assists in 37 games last campaign. Likewise, the Spanish forward Alvaro Morata and the American midfielder Weston McKennie arrived by way of the loan. These players come from Atlético de Madrid and Shalke 04, respectively. As for the departures, the one from Pjanic to Barça and that of pivot Emre Can to Borussia Dortmund stands out. For his part, Gonzalo Higuaín reached an agreement to terminate his contract and go to play in the North American MLS.

Pirlo's Juventus FC

To give a more dynamic game and produce more goals, Pirlo has reinforced the midfield with quality players. Pirlo wants his players to quickly get the ball back in midfield and be aggressive when attacking. He intends to give solidity to the defense and generate plays and assists that feed Cristiano and Dybala. Likewise, the attack by the wingers must improve. But, these changes were delayed. The absence of some players due to commitments with their national teams generated this delay. Besides, waiting for some signings also stopped the work plan.

In his coaching debut, the former star player will coach one of the best players in the world; Cristiano Ronaldo. Both world football figures hope to establish a positive relationship between them. In this regard, Pirlo praised the Portuguese player and declared that it was "an honor" to have him under his command. The objectives are clear. Cristiano and Pirlo will seek to lead Juventus FC to the tenth consecutive scudetto and the Champions League final. The club and its fans only expect more championships for Juve.
