The World Best Forward Footballers In 2019

Robert Lewandowski

Lewandowski is possibly one of the best footballers in German Bundesliga has to offer right now, and arguably one of the best finishers in modern football. The Bayern Munich captain is an absolute beast of a forward. He recently became the all-time top scorer in the German Super Cup. He was awarded the Torjägerkanone after finishing as the league’s top scorer with 29 goals. A number of football pundits say that Poland, his national team, was complexly dependent on him for their success this World Cup, and to a large extent, dependent on him to carry them forward.

Kylian Mbappe

Mbappe, at the young age of 19 has been called the best young footballers in the realm, and is destined to be a successor to Messi and Ronaldo, and taking into consideration his performance at this year’s World Cup, that just might be the case, where he played a pivotal role in France's success. After Pelé, he is only the second teenager ever to score at a world cup, and he's the first French teenager to do so. With the recent France Iceland friendly, he increased his tally to nine international goals in 2018. His form at PSG is phenomenal too.

He was recently nominated for the prestigious Ballon d'Or, an award that many of his contemporaries would like to see him win. He is impossibility quick and is a great finisher. He's has a good start to this season's Champions League, and we'll as France's Ligue 1. Mbappe is undoubtedly the biggest upcoming talent.

Harry Kane

Kane is probably one of the most consistent strikers right now. Apart from the fact that he was Europe's top scorer with an incredible 56 goals in all appearances last year in 2017, he's been in great form this year too. His team, under his captaincy, unfortunately, wasn't able to bring it home, but they did put up a good fight. The Golden Boot is his for his efforts at the World Cup, with 6 goals, and became the second Englishman to do so. He's been instrumental in Tottenham's success as well. They're a favorite to make reach the top this season, and a lot is riding on his shoulders. This January, he became the Spur's all-time top goalscorer Premier League history, and later scored his 100th Premier League goal in just 141 appearances.

Luis Suarez

Barcelona's forward Luis Suarez may have had his fair share of controversy, but his talent is undeniable. He's a prolific forward and definitely deserves a spot on this list. He was the third highest scorer after Ronaldo in the 2017 - 2018 La Liga. He's scored multiple goals from the start of this year, including a hat trick against Girona this February. As for his National team, he is Uruguay's top scorer. Suárez is direct, attacking style of play, and his ability to get the ball past his opponents is commendable. The striker is also very unpredictable, no one knows what to expect when he's in play, but that's what sets him apart from the rest.

Sergio Agüero

Manchester City snatched the Premier League trophy last season, and Sergio Agüero received plenty of praise for their triumph. Agüero scored his 200th goal with City this August, against Chelsea. He followed this with a hat trick against Huddersfield later that month. Currently, with 207 goals, the Argentine striker is Man City's top goal scorer, taking all competitions into consideration. He also holds the record for the most goals scored by a Non-European in the Premier League Era. Apart from his prolific skills as a goal scorer, Sergio is also exceptional at assists. He is quick and intelligent in the field and a talented football player.
